The following House Rules may be revised, added to and/or updated as needed.
ll. Admittance to Post
All members in good standing of each entity shall be admitted to the Post to attend meetings and be served in the social areas. This includes members in good standing from other Posts.

ll. Guest Procedures
Guests shall only be admitted with a member in good standing of American Legion family (SAL, AUXILIARY, LEGIONNAIRE or ALR) and must be logged into the guest registry by the member. Members are responsible for their guests and may not leave before their guests. Guest are not permitted to purchase any alcoholic drinks. Out of respect for our Veterans we ask that guests be seated at tables and not at the bar.
***Exception to this rule is for special event days or days deemed open to the public at which time anyone 18 or older can attend events and make purchases without being accompanied by a member in good standing.

lll, Guests & Members under age of 18
Being a family oriented Post, we welcome families with children
- Children younger than 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and are only to be in designated non-smoking area of the pavilion. The supervising adult will be responsible for the behavior of the child/children.
- While the child is present the bartender on duty has discretion as to the amount of alcohol served to the supervising adult.
- All children under the age of 12 must be off the premises by 8 pm unless there is a Post function that they are involved in at which time they must be off premises by 9pm.
- No use or possession of any illicit or illegal drugs or substances tolerated on the Post premises.
- Members and guests are expected to dress comfortably but no revealing, provocative, or inappropriate attire is permitted.
- All members and guests are kindly requested to keep the Post clean and tidy. Use ashtrays for matches and cigarette butts and place all trash in proper receptacles. Return all glasses and bottles to the bar prior to leaving the premises.
- Any member or guest removing, damaging or destroying property of the Post shall be responsible for payment to cover the repair or replacement.
- No member or guest shall verbally reprimand any officer, employee of the Post in public. Any complaint shall be in written form and addressed to the House Committee and Executive Board unless an authorization from the House Committee or Post Commander is provided in advance.
lV. No pets are allowed in the Post building other than working certified service animals.
V. No exposed weapons of any kind are allowed in the Post. All weapons must be in a holster concealed.
VI. Personal Conduct Rules
The rules of personal conduct in the Post are the responsibility of all members and guests. Failure to observe the personal rules of conduct will result in disciplinary action which can include suspension of social quarter privileges for various lengs of time or possibly being barred completely.
- No loud, boisterous, profane or abusive language will be tolerated on the Post premises.
- No inappropriate behavior of any kind, including fighting or intoxicated persons will be tolerated on Post premises.
- THE WRITTEN COMPLAINT MUST BE TURNED INTO THE BARTENDER IN 24 HOURS TO BE ACTED ON BY THE EXECUTIVE BOARD. THE BARTENDER IS TO LOCK THE COMPLAINT FORM IN THE SAFE AND NOTIFY AND EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER.
VII. Check Cashing & Credit
- VCashing of one check up to $100 for members is allowed up to (3) three times in a 24 hour period at the discretion of the bartender on duty based on availability of funds of the Post at that time.
- Any check returned to the Post for insufficient funds, non-payment, or closed account the member will be charged a $35.00 fee per returned check and check cashing privileges will be suspended until payment is received for the return fee and the original total of the check. Repeat offenders will have check cashing privileges revoked indefinitely.
- No post-dated checks will be accepted and no check will be "held". All checks received by the Post will be deposited upon receipt.
- No third-party check (i.e., tax refunds, payroll checks) will be cashed
- Credit and lending of monies by the Post is prohibited.
VIII. Social Quarters & Game Rules
- 'All games shall be sold only to persons 18 years of age or older. No minor can open or assist with opening game cards or otherwise participate in any games of chance. No gaming cards are allowed to leave the post.
- Under no circumstance will alcoholic beverages be served to a minor.
- no one under 21 may be seated at the bar. You must be 18 years or older to approach the bar.
- All alcoholic beverages must be purchased and consumed at the Post. There is absolutely no carry out service provided and you will not be allowed to carry out unconsumed drinks.
- Alcoholic drink chips may not be exchanged for soda drink chips and soda chips cannot be used to obtain alcoholic beverages.
- The bartender on duty may refuse service to anyone and shall have full authority to enforce the House Rules.
- While on duty the bartender may eject a member or guest from the Post for serious misconduct or violation of House Rules.
- The Post will closs no earlier than business hours posted. On special occasions the House Committee may grant extensions by advance notification.
- Last call will be announced by the bartender on duty at the appropriate time. At this time there is to be only on (1) drink served to a member or guest.
- There will be no carry out food on open or "free food days at the Post.
- All games, alcohol, beverages, food, and bar supplies will be ordered by the House Committee or their approved representative only.
IX. Miscellaneous Rules
- Completed forms for loan of wheelchairs, crutches, etc. must be turned into the House Committee in advance for approval and tracking purposes.
- Completed application must be submitted for use of the Pavilion with $200.00 deposit within a minimum of 10 days prior to the event. Deposit will be returned upon inspection of property after the event. See Rental Rules by clicking HERE
- House Committee are the only persons to change, turn on or off thermostats and/or smoke filtration system
The above House Rules are not intended to be all inclusive of the proper personal behavion standards. The American Legion may discipline members/guests up to including discharge for any offense that is harmful to the order and efficient and safe operation of the Post.
